Grades 7 - 10 MAP Installation Guide

All grade 7 and 8 students need to complete these 3 tasks:

Download the NEW Lockdown Browser software.
Install the NEW Lockdown Browser software.
Open the software, so you know it works on your computer. (some older devices need our support)

Be aware that when you launch the browser it will fill up your screen and will seem like it can’t be turned off. To quit the browser when you open: control+shift+P or control+shift+L. This is the only way to navigate away from the browser!

Do this NOW: Follow the MS Windows or Apple OS installation steps below

Click to Download: Windows MAP Software
Follow the InstallShield wizard to complete the installation.
Quit all other programs
Make sure you are not in full-screen mode.
Open the NWEA lockdown browser to make sure it works.
Once it is open and working, you can quit by clicking the 'X' or control+shift+P or control+shift+L

Click to Download: MAC MAP Software

Select the downloaded Secure Testing Browser file.

Once it is open and working, you can quit by clicking the 'X' or control+shift+P or control+shift+L
