Google Currents is Google's own foray into social media. As much the digital overlap of Google Search, Docs, Calendar, and Gmail software as it is a response to Facebook, Google Currents has strong potential application in formal learning environment.

Join Google Currents


  1. Go to currents.google.com

  2. Your name will already be entered

  3. Enter your Birth month, Birth day and year

  4. Click create profile.

You should join the following by clicking the link and pressing "Ask to Join".
